Pink Wednesdays

Once Upon A Time….

A couple of nail bloggers decided to let their love for the movie Mean Girls manifest itself in the form of  wearing pink manis on Wednesdays.

In the movie Mean Girls, “The Plastics” always wear pink on Wednesdays. And while we’re not mean girls at all, we loved the idea so much that we tweaked it a little and made it our own.

And thus Pink Wednesdays were born!

    I just got two new pink nail polishes sent to me that I haven’t even swatched yet, and I’ve been wondering when the hell I was going to get around to it since I don’t really wear pink. But now I have an excuse! Grool!

    Oh wow! This is a rocking idea for ppl like me who actually really starting to like pink polish but I have some issues with wearing pink. So now I can start with some of my pink polish (my blog actually started on a pink note!). So I’ll fill out your form. :)

    Hi! I don’t have a blog, but I LOVE pink and nail polish, so I would love to join! Today’s Wednesday and I’m currently wearing a lovely new green I purchased yesterday because my boyfriend loved it (Revlon Matte Suede Emerald City), but I promise I’ll start the Pink Wednesdays next week! :) Yay, how fun!

    There are a few “On Wednesdays We Wear Pink” pages on Facebook. Are any of them “official” (owned by the founders here) or “unofficial” (the one we go to in the absence of an official page)? I think it would be fun to see what people are doing to participate in Pink Wednesdays…
